The latest edition presented during Salone del Mobile.Milano was a true “event within an event,” where new trends and cutting-edge products described the future of the cooking universe.
All expectations were met in the 9th edition of FTK – Technology for the Kitchen, a complementary event to Eurocucina within the Salone del Mobile in Milan. The absolute protagonist: the technological innovation of appliances; energy efficiency, connectivity, and artificial intelligence were the characteristics that best described the latest news presented in the various stands, in a true full immersion into tomorrow.
SOLID ROOTS
Beko introduced the new built-in Midnight Line collection at Eurocucina/FTK, fresh from the prestigious iF Design Award. The collection consists of two ovens that differ in the series of the electronic interface; two induction cooktops in sizes 80cm and 60cm; two inclined hoods in sizes 90cm and 60cm, and finally, the combined refrigerator and built-in dishwasher. Another novelty is the new built-in dishwasher with modules of a width of 75 cm.

BIONIC INTELLIGENCE IN THE KITCHEN
Absolute protagonists at Haier‘s stand were the ID SERIES ovens in energy class A++ with the revolutionary Bionic Vision technology. An internal camera recognizes the food and automatically sets the ideal cooking cycle, providing constant and customizable control. Moreover, thanks to AI, after each use, the oven learns the cooking style and preferences of the user, enhancing its capabilities.

EXTRACTION AND ELEGANCE
Falmec proposed three new solutions where the aspirating heart is also an elegant furnishing element. Brooklyn is a project designed to increase usable space in island kitchens. Surface, on the other hand, becomes part of the kitchen wall thanks to the customizable panel. Finally, Jolie presents itself as a real open shelf unit composed of two compartments.

THE PULSE OF EVERY KITCHEN
Miele celebrated its 125th anniversary at Eurocucina/FTK, presenting within the installation “The Pulse of Every Kitchen” the iconic ArtLine series. The series includes a wide range of appliances, and for the occasion, the new TwoInOne induction cooktop with integrated ventilation and the free-standing combined refrigerator were launched.

COLOR AND MUSIC IN THE KITCHEN
During the Salone, LG debuted in the Italian market the new InstaView with MoodUP refrigerator, the only one equipped with speakers and doors that change color according to the user’s mood, through the LG ThinQ app. Also, thanks to InstaView technology, it’s possible to look inside by simply tapping on the opaque glass panel, thus avoiding unnecessary heat loss.

GLASS & CARBON BLACK STEEL
Bosch presented the Accent Line range, a complete collection of built-in appliances including induction cooktops, steam and microwave combination ovens, vacuum drawers, hoods, and coffee machines. What unites them aesthetically and functionally is the minimalist essentiality and harmony of a single design language, dominated by the glass and carbon black steel finish.

CONNECTED LIFESTYLE
In this edition, Samsung proposed three new products in the Premium Built-in Kitchen area. A real novelty is the F1rst 75 AI combined refrigerator, the first model for 75 cm modules. The second new entry is the Anyplace induction hob with scratch-resistant glass. Additionally, the new Jet Clean dishwasher and its Extra Silence program, which slightly slows down the washing speed, making the device extremely quiet, were impressive.

AESTHETICS AND INNOVATION
Smeg presented two important novelties during this Salone. The first is the freestanding steam combination oven in the 50’s style aesthetic with Galileo Multicooking technology, allowing the combination of traditional cooking, steam, and microwave through an innovative heat distribution system. The second is the portable induction hob, with nine power levels and a Boost function.

WELLNESS IN THE KITCHEN
Whirlpool launched the new Kitchen Suite WCollection of “built-in” appliances, perfectly embodying the brand’s attention to well-being. The new compact WCollection oven with microwave combines size and functionality in the 45 cm cavity, while the new generation WCollection induction hobs allow setting the exact temperature for the recipe.
